Lowside hat from Alpinestars RSRV. When Alpinestars’ MotoGP athletes crash or damage a race suit, the suit is returned to Alpinestars’ R&D facility in Asolo, Italy. The suits are thoroughly scrutinized and assessed, before being—depending on the extent of damage—either repaired or archived. This procedure is indicative of Alpinestars’ unyielding commitment to athlete safety and performance. The Lowside Hat is a symbolic nod to that commitment. Each of these classic 5-panel cotton caps is adorned with a large Astar logo that has been cut from salvaged, race-worn MotoGP suit leather, collected by Alpinestars race technicians. The logo is stitched across the left side of each cap, inspired by the logo placement on Alpinestars Supertech R10 and M10 racing helmets. Each logo is laser cut from a crashed suit and finished with a black center, cut from deadstock perforated suit leather. The opposite side of the cap features a printed RSRV logo in contrasting color.
